Specialised Estonian language courses
The Estonian Language House offers specialised courses to help learners develop certain language-related skills (such as writing, listening, pronunciation, or communication).
Learning volume
The course consists of 40–80 academic hours of learning. Participation is open to long-term residents, returnees, and newly arrived immigrants who know Estonian at the required level (at least A1).
Participation
The specialised courses can be taken in Tallinn, Narva, or online. You can choose a suitable course based on the skill you need to develop and the time and location of the course. Registration is opened before the start of the course (usually in January and August).
Registration
You can register for the specialised courses in the self-service environment, provided that there are still spots available. Registration ends 24 hours before the start of the course.
Registering comes with the obligation to study diligently all the way through the course, actively participate in lessons, do homework, and also learn independently (see the rules for registering and participating in language courses).
